Cleaning of SIBU N15 polystyrene mirror design sheets (grey, green, blue versions)
The very fine structure of these design sheets make special demands on the cleaning process, as under certain circumstances residues can collect in the hollows.
The SIBU Design application technology specialists have tested the following cleaning agents:
- Liquid soap
- Ajax auto-active
- Frosch vinegar cleaner
- Cif Creme
- Alcohol 96%
- Spirits
All the tested cleaning agents proved suitable, as no surface damage or colour changes were identified. However, please note that paper cleaning cloths should not be employed (such as kitchen rolls) as these lead to fluff.
