Cleaning of SIBU Design polystyrene mirror sheets
The very delicate structure of these mirror
sheets require special demands on the cleaning
process. The SIBU Design application technology
specialists have tested the following cleaning
agents:
- Liquid soap
- Ajax auto-active
- Frosch vinegar cleaner
- Cif Creme
- Alcohol 96%
- Spirits
All of the tested cleaning agents proved to
be suitable, as no surface damage or discolorations
were identified. However, paper towels should
not be used as these lead to a fluff and possible
surface scratches.
Please note the cleaning agent should not be
applied directly to the surface, apply it to
a clean soft rag and use circle motion to clean
the surface.
